■ Spinach with sesame dressing
C-4 Mr. Kamata boils spinach and mixes sesame seeds, sugar, and white dashi with spinach.

■Meat wrapped in chrysanthemum

Cut the chrysanthemum into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the pork, then wrap the chrysanthemum around it. Arrange the pieces in a heat-resistant glass dish and sprinkle with sake. Lightly wrap the pieces in plastic wrap and microwave for about 3 minutes. Serve with ponzu sauce, Chinese dressing, or whatever you like.

■ Chrysanthemum and chayote vinegar dish
B-5 Nakamura-san Boil the chrysanthemums. Shred the chayote and sprinkle a little salt on it. Once it's softened, squeeze it lightly and mix it with the chrysanthemums and dress it with simple vinegar.
