Kojikana Morning Market Picture Diary/Part 8

December 30, 2025

Good morning. This is Kojikana.
The Mikoda Morning Market Thanksgiving Festival was held on Sunday, December 14th.
Thanksgiving is a big annual event.
Visitors who shop on the day will receive a gift voucher, with the chance to win a surprise gift.
The items that can be exchanged include a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, rice, meal vouchers, miscellaneous goods, and more, all prepared by the morning market shops.
Now, this is a story from a few years ago, before Kojikana became a union member.
The first Thanksgiving I attended was on a snowy day, and the prize I won was a pair of gloves.
The receptionist kindly said, "Keep yourself warm with this."
He called out to me, ``Hey!''
That one sentence has stayed in my heart ever since.
"I want to be a warm-hearted person like that."
This was what made me think that way.
And this year's Thanksgiving, as usual, there was a heavy snowfall on Thanksgiving Day.
Kana was helping out at the reception desk and gave the same words of encouragement to the customer who was hit by the glove.
For Kana, the Mikoda morning market is
It is an important place that has allowed me to think about the kind of person I want to be and to learn from it.
