It's December now and winter is in full swing. Wood-burning stoves are an essential part of the winter scenery at the morning market! Kana absolutely loves the sight of the elderly producers, wearing headscarves, gathered around the stove, surrounded by warm conversations and the soft fire of the stove, joined by their friends and customers!
When Kana first started going to the morning market, she was always thinking, "I want to become good enough friends with everyone to be able to join that wood stove roundtable!" Her wish has come true, and now she's been given the opportunity to use a variety of wood stoves (laughs).
And this year, a large wood stove has been installed to keep all customers warm! The wood stove was brought over from Hachinohe by the association president. It is placed in the rest area, so please come and warm yourself up and enjoy the winter morning market!
